DESCRIPTION

YMK Aesthetics is a New Jersey–based skincare studio and curated online shop founded by licensed esthetician Yumi. Her approach combines Korean skincare expertise, advanced treatments, and personalized care to help clients achieve healthy, lasting results.

Yumi initially approached me to redesign and develop a Shopify website that could bring her services, expertise, and online store together in one cohesive digital experience. Since launching the website, our work has grown into an ongoing creative partnership encompassing website updates, e-commerce design, email marketing, product launches, seasonal campaigns, copywriting, and custom digital assets.

APPROACH

The goal was to create a digital presence that felt elevated, approachable, and distinctly personal—reflecting both Yumi’s expertise and the warmth clients experience in her studio.

I reorganized the website to make it easier for visitors to explore treatments, understand Yumi’s approach, view real client results, and shop professional skincare products. I paired clean layouts and soft, skincare-inspired visuals with clear, welcoming copy to create an experience that feels polished without becoming clinical or impersonal.

Because YMK Aesthetics is continually evolving, I designed the website as a flexible system that can support new services, product launches, promotions, and seasonal priorities. I continue to work closely with Yumi to ensure that every customer-facing touchpoint feels cohesive, intentional, and aligned with her brand.
